This charming dangle bead depicts St Patrick the patron saint of Ireland. He is credited with bringing Christianity to Ireland. St Patrick used the Shamrock to explain the Holy Trinity to the pagan people using the three leaves as a symbol of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We are also told he drove the snakes out of Ireland. Today St Patrick's Day is celebrated on the 17th of March.
